Learning
Daily learning routines keep children on track. Your child will learn using a blend of engaging videos, hands-on instruction and interactive feedback. For example, children love to watch the amazingly funny and stimulating “My Baby can Read” and Veggie tails video series. It teaches a variety of preschool fundamentals. “My Baby can Read” also teaches right- and left-brain cognitive thinking. Your child will enter preschool with a razor-sharp edge. While Veggie tails teaches acceptable behavior practices with a spiritual touch. Another tool in our learning toolkit is the award-winning “Hooked on Phonics”. They teach toddlers to read using simple, repetitive memory concepts. Video, audio and flash cards instruct children to act out “sight” words.
Creative Activities
Children enhance their creativity from our daily play activities. Playing with cooking, finger painting, drawing, singing, reading books, planting flowers, pretending to be different professionals (fire fighters etc), or making snow angels are typical activities that we might do. We strongly believe that children learn by doing and we provide activities that are appropriate for children of different ages and interests.
Little People Book Club
We assist the children in having a book club where they will be the decision makers on the book of the month. We will guide them with reading and comprehension. The purpose of the book club is to teach leadership characteristics along with encouraging creativity through reading. Our hope is that the parents will also engage in the book club with the children and have discussion about the monthly book.
